Teach Your Dog to Behave, NOW!

Owning a puppy is a demanding job and it can be very difficult to change your lifestyle so that it accommodates your new best friend. Now, with Dog Training Philadelphia style, you won't have to worry about changing the way you live; the only thing you will have to worry about is changing your dog's decisions to fit your lifestyle. Another great idea is away training New Jersey style, this type of training is completely optional and should really only be used in desperate situations though. When dogs leave their owners they can become unattached and that is a heartbreaking scene, when a dog loses it's desire for its master.

When you first pick up your puppy from wherever you bought it, whether it is a kennel or a pure breed from a breeder, you should get to know your puppy right away by letting it get to know you. This means you have to let them smell you and play with you and get to know you fully before they will try to interact with you otherwise. One your puppy gets to know its surroundings at home, you must designate spots for the puppy and spots for the master, and this keeps the dog from making a permanent residence on your bed or couch and forever breaking the rules.

At dog training facilities, you will find that many of the things that you want your current grown dog to stop doing, are things that could have been stopped when he or she was a puppy. Puppies are, believe it or not, a lot like children, in that; if they are not disciplined correctly at the beginning then they may learn and follow similar bad habits throughout the rest of their life. Puppies can learn and follow rules easily if their behavior is reinforced correctly. Telling a dog "No" once will not go as far as repeatedly grabbing the dog and saying "No" every time that he or she breaks a rule.

A puppy can learn a lot from different people but will rarely ever remember everything, much like a child. If it has one main "boss" or "master" the dog will learn much easier and will rarely ever become extremely confused. If a dog has similar reinforcement patterns from the same person, then teaching a dog certain manners and behavioral techniques should not be a major issue. If your dog is important to you, then you should make sure that your relationship is one where you can both truly understand each other.

A puppy is a very important part of any family, and it should always be treated as one. In order to have a great relationship with your dog, you must create a foundation where you can each trust each other and play games and always know that you will be there for each other no matter what ever happens in your family.
