Solving puppy barking for an owner can be a challenge and one of the most difficult things that you can do. I know that from experience when you first have a puppy that figuring out what they are barking about is going to be your best method to solve your dog barking problems. The first reason that could be causing your problem would be for a puppy the separation from his mother. I know that for me my Yorkshire Poodle would start whining, barking, crying, or any other noise that would get him attention. Then when I would give him the attention he would stop making the noise and start behaving which was always nice.
So you will want to consider that for your new puppy it is most likely the first time that he has been away from his mother and like most kids when they are away from their mother the first time they get nervous your puppy has the same issue.The second reason that your puppy could be barking is because of all the new sounds and sights that he is not used to. So you will have to take that into consideration for your new home addition because like I said before he is separated from his parents and in all likelihood this is the probably the first time that he is away from his parents.
